EcoH2Mov
Description
EcoH2Mov – New light and sustainable high-performance tanks for hydrogen storage.
The project (2022-2024) main technological objective is the development of innovative light, sustainable and high efficiency hydrogen storage tanks for mobility applications.
The project is led by PROTEC Arisawa and with the participation of eight other companies: MARISKONE, FIDEGAS, BOSLAN, ABC Compresores, EHERSA, INNOVATION TREE and ARGOLABE. The project has also been supported by CIDETEC and CEIT.
The key to success
Innovation
– Develop a recyclable composite shell from a vitrimer resin that can withstand pressures up to 950 bar.
– Develop new alternative tank designs for better space utilization in applications where tank geometry is critical.
– Increase the tanks operating temperature from 85 ºC to 110 ºC to withstand overheating associated with high gas compressions.
– Reduce IV tank cost to 8 $/kWh.
How we achieve this
Argolabe’s Role
ARGOLABE designs and performs the structural analysis, based on the manufacturing capabilities of PROTEC and MARISKONE and the specifications defined by all consortium partners.
